If you wish to reserve a covered seat you can book a premium ticket from our ‘Films’ page.

Q: Do I have to pre-book or can I just turn up on the day?

A: We advise that you book your tickets especially if you want the premium seating as we do not want you to be disappointed if it is sold out on the day.

Q: Are children allowed at the event?

A: Children are permitted at the event, however please be aware that age restrictions (rated by BBFC) apply to all screenings. Please remember to bring photo identification to the event as our stewards will have to check that all members of the audience are of a suitable age for the film being shown. We would also like to remind you that some events and films containing adult content will be shown before 9pm but the age restrictions will still apply.

Q: Am I allowed to bring my own food and drink?

A: Unfortunately, guests are not allowed to bring their own food and drink, but there will be a great variety of food and drink available to purchase at the event. Please note that snacks and water for young children will be allowed.

Our cinema has a licenced bar with a no glass policy and we encourage you to drink sensibly. We have a good range of soft drinks available for those who are driving, and for those not of legal drinking age.

Q: Is there an interval?

A: There is a 20 minute interval during the film in which advertisements will be shown. There is also a 20 minute break before the film starts.

Q: Are dogs allowed at the event?

A: We are a dog-friendly event so all dogs are welcome, but please keep them on a lead and respect all Big Screen goers.

Q: Where is the wheelchair accessible seating located?

A: The allocated wheelchair accessible seating area will be located on the front row of the grandstand and the decking area directly in front of it.

As this seating is a necessity, wheelchair users will pay general admission prices (£3 per film) rather than premium grandstand prices. Carers of wheelchair users are also entitled to this concession.

Q: Will the event still run in bad weather (e.g. rain)?

A: The Big Screen will still be running in bad weather; however we do advise that you check the weather forecast beforehand so that you can be prepared. We would also suggest bringing a jacket or extra layer of clothing for late nights.

In the event of extreme adverse weather conditions, the organisers may decide to close the site if they feel the safety of cinema goers is at risk. Please check our website and social media for updates.

If this is also not a possibility for you then you can sell on your ticket to another and can use our facebook page for this, link here.

In the event that screenings are cancelled:
If screenings need to be cancelled in an event that is beyond our control (e.g. extreme weather conditions) we will be unable to refund those that pre-booked tickets. Please bear in mind that these kind of adverse weather conditions are extremely unlikely.
If screenings need to be cancelled due to a fault of our own then we will be issuing refunds to those that have pre-booked for the events concerned.
